Recycled Asphalt

Dense graded reclaimed asphalt pavement, commonly referred to as RAP, is made of processed
materials that contain asphalt and aggregates. These materials typically come from asphalt removal
during road resurfacing, construction or other related projects. Our RAP is crushed down to 3/8″ minus
size, but can be produced to meet any size specification.

Material Details

Braen Stone produces RAP primarily to put back into hot mix asphalt.

The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement has grown in popularity and it has led to a reduction in the use of raw materials as well as preserving landfill space.
